Door and Window Chime
When your alarm system is off and your door or window is opened, our Safelink Security System window and door contacts can sound a door chime so you know a door or window has been opened. Most of our systems have multiple chime selection to help differentiate which door was opened. The chime feature may even be turned off in the event your kids are running in and out of the doors all day.
Delay Doors and Windows
When the door is set to delay mode when the alarm system is armed, there is a predetermined time that you have to enter the code before the alarm goes off. This time is usually set from 10 to 60 seconds, but can be set at other increments per request. This allows someone to enter the house, while armed in stay and disarm the system. This is very practical if someone is home and wants the protection that the alarm system gives, but is waiting for someone else to come home. The window and door contacts delay may be temporarily removed during arming modes should you like those doors “instantly” to activate the alarm upon an opening.
Instant Perimeter Doors / Windows
Our instant doors and windows are used when you do not expect anyone to come in through that entry point when the system is armed. If any door, or window is opened, the alarm will be tripped. This feature is used when you don’t want to give an intruder 10 to 60 seconds to enter the house prior to the alarm triggering authorities.
Expertly installed-Reduce False Alarms
Our professionally installed security sensors are much better than the DYI installs. We do our best to conceal the contact inside of a door opening vs. the fast and easy “peel and stick” sensors.
